Dr. Bowser is now an industry leader in digestibility testing in the rawhide alternative chew space, using learnings at Earth Animal to help create safer chews at other companies. We are proud to be on the forefront of safety for animals. And, true to its reason for creation, we pride ourselves that No Hides continually offer greater digestibility over rawhide.
Our testing protocols:
We use a 24-hour in-vitro test to understand total digestibility in the stomach (6 hours) and intestine (18 hours). Gastric and intestinal juices are used to mimic the dogs GI tract. Scores are based on degradation digestion of the product.
We annually benchmark our product for digestibility against rawhide and our key competitors to ensure our stringent safety guidelines are met.
